Im sure he plays against very talented players.  But that still doesn't mean there will not be a learning curve in college.  Maybe a big one (1 year), maybe a small one (1-4 games) but Im not expecting him to come here and be a lockdown corner his freshman year.  He will be going up against receivers from OSU, Michigan, MSU, Wisconsin, etc that have been in the college system (games, practices, S&C programs, film study)for four years.  Lamar Jackson was a very talented and sought after player and he is still trying to get his feet under him in year 2.

I understand what you're trying to say here but you really can't compare Lamar and Bookie. Lamar came in having spent his whole HS career at safety. Having to change positions and now learn his 2nd defense in 2 years is tough on anyone no matter how talented they are.

  2. If this was all in reference to my post about Reilly stepping out of bounds on the play i was meaning it in a sarcastic way. In no way was I trying to tear apart what the team Riley accomplished that night. There are many areas of this team to complain about the last 3 years, that night was not one of them.

Make sure Wisconsin drops a game-clinching interception in the last minute of the game, and the referee ignores our WR running 2 yards out of bounds to avoid the CB and then come back in bounds to catch the game-winning pass.

But don't forget he was forced out (not really) so it was totally legal.

You can enroll early if you want to as long as you do it before the sign up period for classes ends at any University (typically 2 weeks from the start of the semester). You don't even technically have to sign a LOI. Daniel Hamilton came to UConn from CA and never signed a LOI despite committing. Showed up in the summer like normal and was on scholarship both years he was there before leaving for the NBA draft. The LOI just technically binds both sides to the agreement that the student will receive an athletic scholarship and be held to xxx xxx standards because of that scholarship.

Got it. Thanks for the info

  5. Well assuming Frost gets a call at the end of the season one would think it would be tough for him to turn down. Coming back to his home state and alma mater is something a huge majority of coaches want to do. I guess the next 4 months will interesting times around these parts. Lets just hope Riley and Co. can put a decent product on the field to give us something good to talk about.

Cubs need to win 9 out of last 12 games and they are in.

Question....anyone seen the Cards lately?  Are they fielding a team this year?

Cards are trying. Just can't consistently put it all together.Defense has killed them the past 2 season ever since Jose Oquendo left the big league team.

They will have some interesting off-season decisions to make this year. A lot of good young arms in their farm system that it's time to figure out a plan for and it's time for them to make a decision on Wainwright and a couple of the other bullpen guys.
