Seems like every year there’s some guy who comes from nowhere to become a household name by the end of fall camp. Some unsung hero who nobody has heard of. Someone like Tyler Wullenwaber a couple of years back. Any guesses on who will emerge this year? Someone who is truly under the radar? My guess is WR Lane Hovey. Why? He has great size for a WR-Y (6’4”) decent wheels (ran track in HS; 4x400), and soft hands (top 4 in Iowa HS TD receptions, catches, and yardage). That, and the starting job at Y receiver is up in the air right now. Do I have any insight on this guess? No. It’s just a wild ast guess on my part. Who ya got?
