My wife's tablet died quiet suddenly. Took it to the repair place and they said it had something like a "unrecoverable software error" or something like that. My wife was despondent because unbeknownst to me she had been taking a lot of photo's/video's. If I had know this I would have been backing up the files. Since it was a google device I would think they'd end up on her cloud by default but she insists that there are a lot of pictures/videos that are not.
She's completely distraught that she'll never get the photo's/video's back. The repair place said they couldn't recover the data, but I would think it would have some sort of hard drive/storage device in it would it not? Anyway we could rescue that data? Short of some sort of Tron mission?
I know the prognosis is bleak but I thought I'd put this out there just in case.
Thanks.
