Coach Bill Callahan announced following Wednesday afternoon’s practice that offensive tackle Cornealius Thomas, a transfer from the City College of San Francisco, has been cleared to join the Husker football program. Callahan is hopeful Thomas will arrive in Lincoln on Thursday and join his Husker teammates in fall camp. Callahan said Thomas, a 6-6, 315-pound native of Honolulu, Hawaii, will be required to go through a five-day acclimation period without pads and will focus on conditioning during that time period.
