Redout
I wouldn't doubt it if we get a couple more commitments aftert his week then. They are going to be offering a couple kids who may be waiting for just this offer from NU. Expect another commit this week. Tim Cassidy said at Friday's Big Red Breakfast that seven members of Nebraska's coaching staff will take advantage of next week's open date to recruit. The Huskers' associate athletic director for football operations told the estimated crowd of 350 at the Holiday Convention Centre that those coaches will be visiting recruits Monday through Wednesday before returning for practice Thursday. "We can do that for six days during the fall season," Cassidy said. "They want to watch some players who haven't been offered yet and see how they've developed in their senior seasons." Cassidy also reminded the crowd of where the coaching staff looks first for recruits. "We will always start in the state of Nebraska and work outward," Cassidy said. "We don't have hundreds of recruits to choose from since we're in a state with a smaller population, but we have five or 10, and we'll recruit those players hard." Quote Link to comment
Eric the Red
Expect another commit this week. This could cause a chain reaction also. Others may want to commit to make sure there scholorship is still there. Or NU could get none. Quote Link to comment
