Benard
There never was a doubt in Daniel Bullocks’ mind that he would be wearing that black jersey. Even as he watched his twin brother snatching more interceptions than any other player in Nebraska football history, Bullocks knew in the back of his mind he was capable of performing just as well. Now, three games, a Blackshirt and a team-high two interceptions into the 2004 season, so does everyone else. “We always knew that we had the same abilities,” Bullocks said of his twin, Josh, a 2003 All-American. “When I saw how good he was doing last season, it just made me want to work my butt off to do the same.” So far this season, the junior from Chattanooga, Tenn., has 11 tackles, a sack and is tied with junior Fabian Washington for the team lead in interceptions. Merely out of brotherly competition, he’s currently one interception up on Josh. While the stats are nice, just knowing he has made it to the Cornhusker forefront is all that Bullocks ever really wanted Rest Here Quote Link to comment
