The event tips off with a "Select-Your-Seat" event at 2 p.m., while the Huskers are practicing. Fans are encouraged to purchase season tickets for men's basketball, which includes 21 homes games during the upcoming year. The Huskers will practice on Sunday from 2-3 p.m. and will follow with a live-action scrimmage starting at 3 p.m. The staff will conduct the live scrimmage in a game-day setup, including having officials present to call the contest. The 19-player roster will be divided between a Red and White team and all players will be introduced to the public prior to the start of the scrimmage. In conjunction with the scrimmage, fans can purchase season tickets at the Devaney Center during a 'Select-Your-Seat' event. Husker fans looking for season tickets can purchase all 21 games starting at $168 -- or an average of $8 per game. Tickets in the upper back ($252), the upper bench ($168) and in the special Doc's Crew seating area (sections C17, C18, C19 in the upper benches, $168) will be available. A limited amount of tickets also remain in the lower back ($336 plus donation) section. The new Doc's Crew seating section will be a fun and exciting area for fans this season. Located in the West end zone of the Devaney Center, the package will include a T-shirt for each ticket holder, individual seatbacks and an invitation to an event with Coach Doc Sadler. Nebraska opens the exhibition season in less than two weeks when it takes on Nebraska Wesleyan on Friday, Nov. 2. Following a second exhibition against an in-state opponent (Wayne State on Nov. 6), the Huskers open the regular season at home on Saturday, Nov. 10 against Presbyterian College.
