As we all know the Huskers have crapped out and endedtheir season prematurly for the first time in decades. This may be a blessing in disguise. Callahan and Co. and been touring the nation visiting recruits north, east, west and south. Callahan alone has been in about 6 states in the last couple days. With the lose the Huskers coaching staff has a little more time than other coaches to work the remaining big time recruits that are still left on the board. LB Rey Maualuga was one of the most recent hosts of a Husker coach. Only thing it was the first of two visits. Burcsh spoke with him and then Callahan will be in later that week. Rey still has the Huskers in his top three. Callahan was in Omaha recently to speak with the local recruits. Reggie Smith and Suh will be receiving a visit very shortly. Quote Link to comment
