IMO the Huskers were somewhat overrated, but they're young. There's only one senior on the team. They may have underestimated USC based on their record. I also don't think the Big 12 is as good as the Pac 10. Just give these women a year or two and then watch out. Quote Link to comment

If they do it this year, they'll be the first team to ever win it three times in a row. This match should have taken place in the final four; not a Kentucky regional. Still, I don't think that NU, who had only one senior on the team and whose best player is still a freshman should have been seeded #1 in the tournament. Not saying they weren't an excellent team. They just weren't the best one. SC played some amazing defense that the Huskers weren't expecting based on the Trojans' regular season play. Seriously, wait 'til next year. Quote Link to comment
