SPIT FIRE: Michigan State head coach John L. Smith said after the Alamo Bowl on Monday night that Nebraska players were spitting on the faces of the Spartans. Husker offensive lineman Richie Incognito was singled out for his misconduct by at least one Spartan defender. Tuesday, Husker interim head coach Bo Pelini said one of the referees approached Pelini during the game about his players spitting. "(The referee) talked to me -- he was yelling," Pelini said.
