I made a post on another thread that was sent to "rumorville" where I mentioned Pete Carroll mentored Bo earlier in his career. One of Pete's mentor's was then NC State coach Monte Kiffen, thus his son's,Lane Kiffen, connection to SC as OC until this year when he went to Oakland as head coach. App State's coach, Jerry Moore, was mentored by Dr. Tom. There are a lot of coaches out there who learned or were influenced by another coach that most of us are just unaware of.
