Roxy Posted March 20, 2008 Share Posted March 20, 2008 Grilled Ruebens: 8 slices Jewish seeded rye bread Thousand island dressing 1 (16 ounce) can sauerkraut, drained well 8 slices swiss cheese 8 slices corned beef Butter Spread butter on 4 slices of bread and place butter side down on hot grill or griddle. Spread each slice of bread with thousand island dressing. Then layer with kraut, cheese and corned beef. Butter the remaining 4 slices of bread and place butter side up on the sandwiches on the grill. Grill until nicely browned, flip over to brown other side and heat till cheese melts.
