Red November
We get in to these arguements all the tiem. Got into a discussion with a friend who thinks that Crouch was a better qb than Frazier. He based this on the fact that Frazier had a great team around him and that is why he did so well. He claims that Crouch did not have as great as players on his team and still took them to a national championship. I told him that the only thing they have is common is the power of three. Frazier has three national championship games he played in and Crouch has three times he quit football, becuse he didn't get his way. Quote Link to comment
Blackshirt34
Crouch wasn't so much a great qb as he was a master at the option. His knowledge of and experience with the option brought most of his success. The other aspects of quarterbacking were not his strong points. His passing and decision making is what kept him from the nfl and just were not needed in the option style of qb. Based on being a qb and not stats, crouch wasnt as good. Quote Link to comment
