Roxy Posted September 17, 2008 Share Posted September 17, 2008 I make this ALOT and it is very good and easy to make. USE A CAST IRON SKILLET ONLY-VERY IMORTANT. Preparation: Prep Time: 15 min. Cook Time: 35 min. Original Ranch Roasted Potatoes: Ingredients 2 lbs. small red potatoes, QUARTERED 1/2 cup vegetable oil 1 packet/1 oz. Hidden Valley ® Seasoning & Salad Dressing Mix Place potatoes in a gallon size Glad® food storage bag and add 1/4 cup oil; seal bag. Toss to coat. Add Hidden Valley Seasoning & Salad Dressing Mix and toss again until the potatoes are well coated. Put 1/4 cup vegetable oil in a cast-iron skillet & PLACE SKILLET IN THE OVEN while the oven is pre-heating=THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. When the oven has reached 450 degrees, put the potatoes in the skillet and bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until potatoes are brown and crisp. Quote Link to comment
