Roxy
A friend of mine who is a great cook..emailed me this recipe..she is a fantastic cook. Buy a good sized pork roast and cook it in your crock pot all day on low heat with some cut up onions and minced garlic. Season it with some Seasoned salt, garlic salt and ground black pepper. When well done, shred the pork roast and refrigerate it. 3 hours before serving time: Mix together in a bowl: 1 Cup ketchup 1/4 Cup brown sugar 1/4 Cup water 2 T. vinegar 1 T. mustard 1 T. Worcestershire Sauce Minced onion as desired *Double sauce recipe if you have a larger amount of shredded pork. Put shredded pork and the above mixture in your crock pot. Mix till thoroughly blended. Cook on low at least for 2-3 hours. The longer it simmers, the better the flavor. Serve on warmed or toasted hamburger buns. YUM!! Quote Link to comment
