Roxy Posted October 5, 2008 Share Posted October 5, 2008 BEEF PATTIES WITH POTATOES: 1 lb.(s) lean ground beef 1 egg 1/2 cup(s) dry bread crumbs 1 clove(s) (small) garlic, minced. 1/2 onion; finely chopped. 5 medium (about 5 cups) potatoes; Sliced Thin. 1 can(s) (14.5 ounce) green beans,; Drained. 1 teaspoon(s) Margoram 2 package(s) (0.87 ounces ea) BROWN GRAVY MIX 2 cup(s) water; Hot. salt; to taste. black pepper; to taste In a bowl mix ground beef, egg, garlic bread crumbs and salt & pepper together. Form into 4 patties. Place patties in a large skillet and lightly brown them on both sides, you don't want to cook them completely. Drain off any fat if any. Sprinkle chopped onions over patties in skillet. Top with drained green beans. Spread the sliced potatoes over top and season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix together the water, gravy mixes and marjoram. Pour gravy mixture over top of the potatoes. Bring to a boil. Cover pan and simmer for about 20 to 30 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
