Roxy
This is the only stuffing I will make for Thanksgiving Day..It is delicious. Thought I would post it since turkey day will be here before you know it. I don't remember if I posted it before or not...I don't keep track of recipes I post....enjoy Savory Cornbread Stuffing: 1 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced (about 4 cups) 1 cup chopped celery 3/4 cup chopped onion 1/2 cup butter or margarine 4 teaspoons Wyler's or Steero Chicken-Flavor Bouillon Cubes 1 2/3 cup boiling water 1 lb. bulk sausage, browned and drained-we like spicy sausage 1 (16-oz.) package corn bread stuffing mix 1 1/2 teaspoons poultry seasoning In large bowl, cook mushrooms, celery and onion in margarine until tender. In large bowl, dissolve bouillon cubes in water. Add sausage, mushoom mixture and remaining ingredients; mix well. Loosely stuff turkey just before roasting. Place remaining stuffing in greased baking dish; bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until hot. Quote Link to comment
