Roxy Posted October 26, 2008 Share Posted October 26, 2008 Potato Casserole: 6 medium white potatoes 6 slices bacon 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, divided 1 pint sour cream 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese 1 cup chopped green onion 1/2 cup bread crumbs Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Boil potatoes in their skins; peel and grate. Fry and crumble bacon. Melt half of butter. In a large bowl, combine potatoes, bacon, melted butter, sour cream, cheese and green onions. Place in a buttered 9x13-inch pan. Top with bread crumbs and dot with remaining butter. Bake for 30 minutes or until it is heated through and top is browned. Quote Link to comment
