newenglandhusker Posted November 1, 2008 Share Posted November 1, 2008 To be fair...one of the most prominent casters on Gameday did throw a complete hissy-fit when those two teams were named in the final pairings. Mark "I'm a retard" May is also quite the basher, too. There are, of course, those that know what their talking about (as much as I hate to say it, Lou Holtz was an advocate for the Nebraska teams because he saw them to be completely dominant) but the overbearing vocality of the naysayers is enough to be off-putting.
