Snickerdoodle Cookies

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

 

Snickerdoodle Cookies:

 

1 cup blue bonnet margarine

1-1/2 cups sugar

2 eggs

2-3/4 cups sifted flour

2 tsp.s cream of tartar

1 tsp. baking soda

1/4 to 1/2 tsp. salt

4 T. sugar

4 tsp.s cinnamon

 

Mix together blue bonnet margarine, sugar and eggs. Sift together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt; stir into blue bonnet margarine mixture. Chill dough, if dough is soft. Roll in balls- the size of small walnuts. Combine sugar and cinnamon-make more if you need more to cover the balls. Roll balls in sugar and cinnamon mixture. Place 3' apart on ungreased baking sheet or use parchment paper on the baking sheet.

 

Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
