Roxy Posted March 15, 2009 Share Posted March 15, 2009 Shortcut Nachos: 4 flour tortillas Oil or shortening for frying 2 cups grated Monterey Jack or Cheddar Cheese ¼ cup chopped canned green chili peppers Cut each tortilla into 8 wedges. Drop 3 or 4 pieces at a time into hot oil or shortening in mini-fryer. Fry until light brown and puffy, about 1/2 minute on each side. Drain. Sprinkle immediately with grated Monterey Jack or Cheddar Cheese and chopped peppers. Serve warm. Quote Link to comment
