Former Husker sentenced

LINCOLN – Former Nebraska men's basketball player Steve Harley was sentenced to seven days in jail after he pled no contest to a first-offense DUI charge in Lancaster County Court last week.

 

Harley, 23, had his license revoked for six months and was fined $400. He was also fined $50 for operating a vehicle without a license

 

Lincoln Police pulled Harley over on May 30 for an improper turn, but eventually found his blood-alcohol level to be .144.

 

Harley, originally from Temple Hills, Md., finished his Nebraska career in March, starting a total of 51 games and averaging 9.6 points during his two-year stint with the Huskers.
