GrassHopper Pie With/Pic

GrassHopper Pie:

 

1-1/2 cup Oreo Cookie Crumbs

1/4 cup Butter (melted)

1/2 cup Creme de Menthe Liqueur

24 Large Marshmallows

1/2 cup Milk

1 Pint Whipped Whipping Cream

3 drops Green food color

 

Combine cookie crumbs and melted butter. Reserve 1/3 cup cookie crumbs.

Press remaining crumbs into a 10" glass pie plate (deep dish) and pack well.

At low heat in a saucepan, warm milk and add marshmallows. Stir constantly

with a wire whisk until marshmallows are completely melted.

Gradually add Creme de Menthe and green food coloring until well blended.

Fold in whipped cream and once combined, pour into pie dish onto crumbs.

Place in freezer for a couple of hours. Remove and sprinkle on reserved cookie crumbs.

Return to freezer for an additional 12 hours.

Garnish each slice with whipped cream, shaved or grated
