Roxy
Barbequed Pork Roast Sandwiches: Season a pork roast with garlic salt and pepper. Rub garlic in a jar all over the roast-opt...I like it Put some sliced onions and garlic on the bottom of the crockpot and place the pork roast on top. Pour 1 cup water around the pork roast-use more if you want..depends on how big your pork roast is..eyeball it. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours...depends on how big your roast is..till it is done. Take the roast out of the crockpot, drain off juice; sliver the pork roast for sandwiches. Put the shredded pork back into the crockpot and cover with sauce; stir well. Sauce: 1 cup ketchup 1/4 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup water 2 T. vinegar 2 T. onion, chopped-I use more 1 T. mustard 1 T. Worcestershire Sauce MIx all the above ingredients well and pour over the shredded pork; stir well. I sometimes DOUBLE the sauce ingredients..it just depends on how big your pork roast is..I like it saucy. Prepare it according to your taste. Cook on low setting all day. ***You can just cook it till it is heated through....but...I like to cook it on low all day-THE LONGER IT COOKS ON LOW SETTING..THE BETTER IS IS:) I like to serve it on seeded hamburger buns.
