Here are my helmet stickers for Saturday’s games. There were some tough decisions, but here are my choices.

 

Texas Tech quarterback Taylor Potts: Completed 36 of 57 for 456 yards and seven touchdowns to charge the Red Raiders’ 55-10 victory over Rice. Potts completed passes to 13 different receivers as he came within one touchdown pass of B.J. Symons’ school record.

 

Kansas running back Jake Sharp: Rushed for 104 yards and two touchdowns and added six receptions for 29 yards and another score to lead the Jayhawks’ 34-7 victory over UTEP. Sharp moved into 10th place on Kansas' career rushing list with 1,933 yards and also now is tied for fifth on the Kansas career touchdown list with 22.

 

Missouri linebacker Sean Weatherspoon: Notched 14 tackles (10 solo, four assists) and one tackle for a loss to help lead Missouri’s 27-20 comeback victory over Bowling Green.

 

Nebraska quarterback Zac Lee: Passed for 340 yards and four touchdowns to lead Nebraska’s 38-9 triumph over Arkansas State. Lee completed passes to 11 different receivers in today’s game, including eight in the first half.

 

Oklahoma wide receiver Ryan Broyles: Snagged seven receptions for 155 yards and three touchdowns -- all in the first half -- to punctuate Oklahoma’s 64-0 thrashing of Idaho State. Broyles three touchdown grabs tie a school record set by Mark Clayton in 2003 and Mark Bradley in 2004.
