CR4IGG3RS
I'm struggling to put into words my emotions at the moment - which means that it's poll time! Personally, I feel a bit more like the ISU loss from last year. I feel that we were clearly the better team, but for some reason, we simply did not show up to play today. Players did not have their head in the game, they made costly and stupid mistakes/penalties, and embarrassed us in our own house. Conversely - do you feel like Texas simply was a much better team than we gave them credit for, and were this game replayed every weekend, a majority of the time the outcome would be the same? Hercules
I can't vote, because it's a tie for me. We got outplayed and dramatically outcoached in this game, like we did in the Tech game last year. However, all of those dropped passes... They cost us the game. Quote Link to comment
EbylHusker
Some of both. Texas showed up and played up to their potential. We didn't, but I think that our potential is actually lower than what most people thought (aka, overrated). Texas is a good team and they played a solid game. Our problem is inconsistency...penalties, fumbles, and drops, for the most part. But these aren't one game inconsistencies, they're constant problems we see game after game. As a result, I'd say we split this game with Texas 50/50 if it were played 100 times. Quote Link to comment
