AR Husker Fan
You'll either have to clone the drive (image it and restore the image to the new drive) or do a fresh install of the OS. If you simply copy it over, it won't work. The best bet to do a clean install. It's a pain, but it will give you a stable OS. Quote Link to comment
CornHOLIO
Image it? I guess that means my water color painting of it won't do. Might be a strugle locating that disk, any suggestions on which Windows OS to look for on ebay? I think my existing one is Xp but seems like some of the past ones were a little better judging by the complaints each new one seems to cause. As it is it takes about 8 minutes for a new window to open up or close. My hard drive might need some testosterone pills Quote Link to comment
AR Husker Fan
Get Windows 7. Windows 8 is...well, a pile of crap. Windows XP soon will have support from Microsoft discontinued. Quote Link to comment
