North says there not backing down now and south has evacuated threatened area and will retaliate with future aggression. and we have to protect S. Korea because they cant do it themselves. A starving populace, outdated equipment, American military bases/naval vessels in the region. Not to mention their Dear Leader is rumored to be on the brink of death, and his son is not so popular if reports are true. As likely than a war with us is a military coup, after which it's hard to say what would happen. Link to comment
