NEBRASKANHEAT
Did they rush the field? I had to go to work and left with 2 minutes left in the game. Just curious if beating Nebraska still means anything these days? Never thought I'd miss the days when fans would rush the field and party uncontrollably when we got beat. Quote Link to comment
beanman
I hear they're rioting. It's almost as bad as the Flint, Michigan Megabowl riots Quote Link to comment
UCLABruinOfficialPage
No. The goalposts didn't come down. Beating Nebraska wasn't really a big deal other than the score was fairly close and the game wasn't officially over until we secured the onside kick. Most of us watched the fireworks than then went out to the bars or the beach. Husker fans were polite and subdued. Quote Link to comment

shyndy
I don't think there were enough Bruin fans at the game to bring the goal posts down anyway Quote Link to comment
Bruleif
Due to liability reasons, fans are not allowed to rush the field at the Rose Bowl. Most fans are running the other way at the end of the game - to the lines for the shuttle buses out of the Arroyo Seco. LOL. Quote Link to comment
