DaveH
Saw this posted on a car enthusiast site I frequent. Yea it's ESPN but I checked it out anyway to see if any Huskers were chosen by the Ivan the Terrible. Sure enough.. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/flash/2005/allbowl05 Quote Link to comment
HUSKERbyNATURE
I think that Koch should have been the Punter. Averaging 51 yds punting is good, but doing it against Breaston was even more curcial. GBR Quote Link to comment
HuskersGJ
It looks like the all bowl highlight team. players with game long performances lose out to players who made 1 or 2 good plays in some cases. the Alamo Bowl really only consisted of one play. and since brothers was important on that play he makes the all-bowl team. as much as i appriciate what Brothers did (not stopping on the play), there was probably another safety out there in this bowl season that was more deserving for having a great GAME. I think that Koch should have been the Punter. Averaging 51 yds punting is good, but doing it against Breaston was even more curcial couldn't agree more, Breaston was a key threat for U-M. but its all down to the highlight reel again. the all-bowl punter, according to Maisel, averaged a whopping 36-yards on 4 punts! but the description says two of them were really really neat. sorry, Sam.
