bluiz18
I was wondering if any of you had the broadcast of Alamo Bowl from ESPN....I bought the one with the audio from Jim Rose and I cant stand it! Its amazing how much more you see with different angles, slow mo replay, and good announcers....no offense Fiala! If anyone has the ESPN version or no where i can get one from I would like to talk with you. Thanks in advance! Quote Link to comment

HuskersGJ
I bought the one with the audio from Jim Rose and I cant stand it! http://www.huskervideos.com aren't those the videos with the Jim Rose broadcast? The ONLY games i've seen for sale that were from TV Network broadcast are the '96 Fiesta and '98 Orange Bowls. and both were broadcast on CBS i believe. so I wouldn't expect the Alamo Bowl (ESPN) to be officially sold any time soon (if ever). DaveH
I just bought this last week, It's HORRIBLE.......... I have to disagree. I enjoy my copy. I believe DJR313 has a copy of the 95 Orange bowl from Huskervideos.com as well. For those of you thinking this (the huskervideos.com one) is the ESPN broadcast, it isn't. I believe, technically it isn't legal to distribute that broadcast unless of course you have permission from ESPN and possibly the NCCA and or both schools. Quote Link to comment
Greased
Here is my defense..... 1. The camera was all around the place. 2. The sound, just plain bad. 3. No instant reply 4. No score was displayed on the screen 5. One camera angle, no close ups or cool ground level angles. 6. You could not even here the crowd, it was quiet. The ESPN job was way better, It was classic when Herbstreet explained the Halo zone for punt returns. Trust me it was a great game, I just don't think that this DVD does it justice.
