2025-2026 Portal Updates

I hink it's funny people think we are a rich and/or relevant football program. We're a mid level that can't beat Minnesota or Iowa. If we fire Rhule we'll be paying what, 3 past coaches and a new one. That's where all someone else's money will go. Because nobody here is donating enough to buy a new player's diamond jock strap.

At that point, why not punt and just buy NDSU's whole program and hope for the best.

No coaches will want to come here, no players either. We are 3-5 years before our past goodwill runs out and we move from the BIG to the mountain west to win games. Or stay and take the money the BIG gives us to be punching bags for the championship level teams.

We sound like has beens talking about the 80s and 90s. That was 30 to 40 years ago.

Brutal, somewhat hurtful, but honest. We are with Rhule until this plane rights itself or we crash. If we dide we die......

Started 2 games, playing all of them, in 2024 and had 30 tackles that season. Season ending injury in 2025 after starting 3 games. Can't find anything on what is was. Any idea?

All I could find was that he was injured in fall camp - they took him off in an ambulance. He missed the first game, then played against Sparty, then missed a game, then played against Cal. Was done for the year after that 🤷‍♂️

Paying 3 past coaches = false
No coaches? other than the several we just hired? False
No players? Other than the 16 transfers we've got in the past week? False
Move to the Mountain West? So laughable it's well beyond False

Lots of falsehoods trying to be passed off as thuths around here.
 
so the portal closes tonight. that means no one else can enter the portal but is there a date they have to sign by?
