now 15 portal guys + 1 JUCO. Still looking at a high school DL/QB. not sure how many guys we will have left to take in the portal ranks. Maybe 1 more?

The talk on the radio was that Nebraska was looking to bringing in close to 20 portal additions with their hs class.

Can they be good? Most likely, sure.
Will they be good is the real question.
Time will tell.
Glad the OL is getting some attention. Esp with Geep.
Wish we did more with the DL (meaning better). Still don't know about the new DL/DE coaches, the new DL assistants, and even the DC coach concerning DB coverage (I am not a fan of quarters coverage).

"talk on the radio" doesn't mean a lot. We also had some guys who were projected to leave decide to stay. Still a gob of people in the portal so I'm guessing if the coaches deem someone worthy, they will try to get them.

As someone who got married by a Witch lady in the lobby of a hotel to a woman I might have known for 3 months, while unorthodox vegas type wedding can still lead to a promising mutually beneficial relationship. 18 year and 3 kids later we are still cooking.

Hard to feel bad for Dabo. What would the analogy have been when coaches were making 10 million dollars and the players got their education paid for. I feel like a pimp with all these H**s.

I was kind of hoping he would stay and put on some good weight during the offseason. However, might be one of those situations he saw the writing on the wall with some of the guys transferring in.

Yeah at some point you're better off w/o players who don't want to be there... he's been in the portal after each of the seasons he's been at NU. Sure he's a good fella but okay with it.
