But I think 3 Qtrs of a game should be plenty, and turn the game mostly over to the 2's and 3's if the score allows for it. I think it does wonders for the morale of a locker room when more players get to see the field.

But that's just my opinion. Rhule has a much better coaching record than I can show from my years in Y-ball. 😂

Ugggg, I totally feel like there is no chance we get the shutout either.

I can see it where Akron scores first...the crowd is all like "well this is lame" halftime is 17-7 NU...4th quarter is 38-7 and it sort of ends in that 41-7 range.

LMAO yeah. I actually think we will Dominate this Akron team. We will just have one of those typical Nebraska defensive drives that leaves us all thinking WTH did we just see.

And I thought I was the pessimist here, agreed on Ohio State and South Carolina (at least how South Carolina has been lately), but we're no Rutgers? We're 7-0 against Rutgers all-time, and 6 of those game are since 2014. We are better than Rutgers.
 
I hope we win and it's well in hand in the 3rd Qtr. I REALLY want to see Lateef get some significant game experience, along with all the rest of the 2's and 3's. And I hope Lateef is given the full playbook to use, minus deep passes.

My guess, when you play FOR a team like Akron, you basically know you are gonna get smoked in the non-con, if you play 4 years for Akron you probably end up playing maybe 6 non-con home games???

So basically they know they are getting smoked in these games, so if you give them no hope from the start, they should fold.

These guys know that all they have to look forward to are their conference games.
