Anyone else annoyed?

This has probably been said in other threads, but in reading articles by their columnists and also reading comments they don't really give our team any credit for completely dominating them, but instead blame it on them not being ready to play. There are a few exceptions out there, but... Here's one example.

The Big 12 is by no means an impressive conference this year, but we are 2-0 vs. the Pac 10 already as is the MWC. By my math they're now 2-4 thus far, so maybe they could just admit that their conference isn't great.

I still don't believe we got the best game Arizona has to offer. They looked off. You don't hold a team that has performed like Arizona has through the season to whatever it was before that last drive (something like 35 yards total?) unless something is wrong, regardless of how good your defense is.

Credit needs to be given to Nebraska and I think you'd be hard pressed to argue Arizona ever had much of a chance after watching that game (even if they had played their best). However, if Arizona fans want to say they would not have been dominated so totally if their team had actually showed up, I have no issues with it. It's probably true.

From the postings there

First of all I was at the game and I have to say I had a wonderful time and the Nebraska fans are some of the nicest and classiest fans in College football. None of them wanted to try to pick fights unlike other teams UA plays and showed respect when they talked trash and took it when people would talk trash about them. Nebraska fans are what all college football fans should be like. Hopefully ASU can take a cue from some Nebraska fans.

They were off because we bloodied their nose really bad, right out of the gate. Arizona schemed for a team that was going to play a field position game which was going to be decided in the trenches. Instead, they got a high powered offense, and a really ill tempered defense, who were atoning for mistakes made in the Big 12 Championship Game they should have won.

While I agree the initial interception and TD were part of it, that wasn't all of it. It wasn't all NU generated. Arizona just didn't play a good game.

All I can say to this is: good teams prepare well and are ready to play. Coaching, preparation, film study etc. are all part of the deal. We kicked the snot out of them. And I believe would do the same if there were a rematch.

I believe some of the Arizona fans are correct when they say they've had issues with consistency. While all of that is a big part of making a good team, the fact still remains that Arizona is capable of better play than what we saw.

Yeah, we looked really great and we are a very good team. But Arizona sure helped us look that good.

I agree Arizona didn't play their best game, but it was mostly because of NU.

I think they were shell shocked and intimidated in the first quarter of the game.

They schemed for a game to be decided in the trenches, a game that was going to be decided by field position. Instead they met a Husker offense with a chip on its shoulder, and a really really determined defense.

They knew they couldn't score 33+ points on a defense that hadn't given up that many points to a team all year.

I'd call that wishful thinking, but alright.
I'm just calling it the way I saw it. They weren't prepared for us to put up 30+ points.

The Arizona players were getting frustrated with themselves with their inability to move the ball. All I have to do is point to their big mouth center Baxter. He said they were going to punch our defense (Suh) in the mouth, instead he got a foot in his a$$ for his trouble.

Here is how some Zona fans left their tailgate.
