Anyone else annoyed?

Uh, no. Reading comprehension ftl, apparently.
Actually, he's spot on. You seem to not be saying what you intend to say (writing comprehension ftl?) or you're just really bad at conveying a point. I just read this thread and I got the same thing out of what you're writing. If that's not the message you intended to convey, you may want to try again.

Glad I'm not the only one who read it that way. If that's not what he meant to imply, then so be it. That's why I asked. Though the "reading comprehension FTL" was beyond childish.

Childish, but fitting. Sometimes that's the way it goes. If you would like to explain exactly how you came to the conclusion that I was saying NU won because Arizona didn't show up, be my guest.

What I think is being said, is that most expected a better game from Arizona. A team that ended 2nd in the Pac 10, Oregon playing in the Rose Bowl as we speak, just barely squeaked out of Tuscon, on a very lucky deflection pass. Two overtimes, A pretty good team.

Do I feel they were at their best, no I do not. But that is normal in all games. It just happens. Do most feel Texas Tech was that much better than us? Not likely.

Nebraska would have beaten them in their best form I think. But the fire they showed against SC and Oregon did not seem to be there.

Could have been the defensive line play at the start of the game, that knocked the wind out of their sails.

But Nebraska beat a pretty good team, that unfortunately did not put up as good as effort as their fans or most of ours thought they would.

That is not taking anything away from our effort or win.

The realities are NU's D had more to do with UA's poor performance than did UA not playing their best. NU dominated them, and took them out of their game plan and rhythm. All of this lead to and were the factors in UA's lack of anything on offense.

:yeah

In other words, NU demoralized them.

I certainly wouldnt attribute their offense getting shut down as being anything besides being over matched. we have done similar things to far superior offenses(texas and OU) I think that if we played them 10 times they might get over 10 points once or twice. I know that sounds cocky, but in big games our d has consistantly come up big, and with Bo having that much time to prepare them.........

i think the area we might have played over our heads is on offense. but who knows? maybe we just were healthy. our line sure did look good. we shall see............

Exactly. Bo brought an axe handle to a broomstick party.

Admitting you're childish is the first step I guess. Since I'm hardly the only person who read what you wrote that way, perhaps it's diction and syntax on your part ftl.
