There wasn't a QB in the game for Henery's 53 yard field goal, and Burkhead was in the game at QB for his TD pass (set up by Osborne's INT return). Martinez was the QB for Helu's long run, but not sure how much more Martinez had to do with that run than Helu and his blockers.
Saying Martinez gave us a 17-0 lead is a pretty blatant denial of reality.
I literally laughed out loud at this. This is such a reach.
OK. So "Nebraska" got us a 17-0 lead against the Sooners. Not Martinez, because to think that would be a "pretty blatant denial of reality." It was "Nebraska."
So... who's responsible for giving up that lead? Because the only time you've mentioned Martinez in relation to that game you've said he was responsible for the INT in the end zone - which is accurate, but it ignores other turnovers in that game, including Helu's fumble at the Nebraska 19 which led to Oklahoma's tying TD.
But I guess pointing out Martinez' INT when we were up 17-0 was an acceptance of reality. Or something.
