No. It's a lazy spin-off of a real language. There is a difference.

This is just ignorant. Is American English just a lazy spin-off of Old English? I mean, obviously the language of Shakespeare must be real, so how can the language we're writing be considered legitimate if it's just a cheap knock-off?
