Donovan Fired

When Donnie was first retained, didn’t MR say something about having a staffer that was a former coach help out with the OL? I can’t remember who that was.

I'd look at a few other guys for sure. Barthel, Satt, Thomas, Dvoracek, Bradden....Hoping DC can pick own staff (Williams is safe) and Dana can get who he wants. A lot of dudes with limited depth and/or development/improvement.

And I wouldn't care if Dana left either tbh.
I’m with you. Get a run the damn ball guy here who understands Nebraska history and the limits of our location and the challenges of our conference

Well I'm pretty sure Rhule said something along the lines of "I sat down with him and we talked, and I really liked his vision."

I think we all kind of translated that to "keeping him might help us sign his nephew."

I just hope that whoever gets hired are good enough to compensate for Rhule’s many shortcomings. Rhule is not a good coach but at least he seems to understand that change is needed. If things don’t get better next year then the ONLY person Rhule can blame is himself. At that point, I hope he has the decency to fire himself.

NU seemingly utilized a lot of assets to attract and keep Dylan.

Again, wonder if Dom went to Rhule and was like, "hey, I know a little bit about the OL. Not an expert, but I'm really thinking this OL might be doing things wrong. How about fire my brother so my son won't get killer. Or we'll leave....
