Dylan Raiola

dang. sad to see him go, he was a great player and teammate and ambassador for the program

came in here as a 5 star when we had absolutely nothing going for us and he could've gone anywhere, battled hard, and was a huge piece of the rebuild

hope he finds a good spot to do well and make it into the league, and hope the smoothbrain fans can figure out how to not be salty and make it personal about a kid doing what he thinks is best for him in his life after he's done nothing other than play his heart out for the team you root for
This sums up my opinion too. He gave the program some needed life. It was just weird that his uncle was the OL coach and I’d argue the lack of a OL that could protect Dylan is why he hit his ceiling here. Now that it looks like we are rebuilding the line and know we need a strong running game with a QB that is a run threat, he just may not fit any more.

This is the age we are in, players and coaches moving. I don’t care for it as much but it makes building the right team and culture interesting to find the right pieces.

I'd be down with Sorsby, it's just funny looking back to the Cincy game and how many people thought he was just a running back playing QB because we held him to almost no passing yards.

IMO Nico would be a step back - incredible athlete, but he's destined to get hurt and I don't think he'll ever be a great passer even with his arm talent.

Leavitt seems like another prima donna, not sure why people would be clamoring for him when he's doing the same thing Raiola is. And I don't hold it against either of them FWIW.

Go after Sorsby! I’m over the nonsense with Dylan
This would be great, but Sorbsy is going to a big time program or be a high round draft pick.

The roster upgrade going from Cincinnati to Nebraska is negligible or modest at best. He's going to end up at Miami/LSU. Somewhere that represents a significant roster upgrade.

We would've been better that season, but we top out at probably 8 wins instead of 6? And we'd be back in the portal this year.

McCord still would've had Satterfield calling plays for him. Matt Rhule would still be a sideline liability on Saturdays. Whoever would be QB in 2025 would still have his Tackles getting ragdolled by opposing DLinemen.

Nebraska Football has deep, deep issues beyond their 5* QB turning into a slightly above average QB.

Here is a question for all of you. If this is an effort to get paid more by Nebraska, do you pay him or let him go? (I heard someone say this is him wanting more money from the Huskers)

We may have to pay more for the next QB.
