Dylan Raiola

I hope where ever he goes he improves his mobility and his decision making speeds up. If he needs all day to throw and an elite receiving core that are always wide open in order to be successful then he's not an elite qb anyway. If he's the early 1st round pick he thinks he is he probably won't have those things being drafted by a crap team in the top 10.

Mobility is not something you can work on and improve.
At this stage of life, you either have it naturally or you don't.
DR makes Mahomes look like Lamar Jackson in comparison.

I can be both
I thought Beck was the last difference maker at OC. He was creative in his formations and play calling. I also remember liking a few things Langsdorf/Riley did with Cethan Carter.
Honestly, I might get a lot of pushback on this. But, the one thing I liked about Frost was his play design. He was more creative in the run game than most we have had in the past 20 years. It was everything else with the team management that was bad.

In total agreement with you. Dylan is a gunslinger qb who we all knew wasn't a threat with his legs. I can understand if Matt Rhule told him look Dylan we love you as our qb but to give us the best chance to win we are going in a different direction for the offense. A qb that will be a threat in the zone read.

Frost learned under the best offensive mind of all time - Coach Tom. Modern day offenses use some of his concepts. Not surprising that Frost would be influenced by Coach Tom in his play calling.

I'm ambivalent about this. I wanted him to stay. He was a pretty talented QB but there were issues for sure. He never lived up to the hype. I don't know what we might find that is going to be better but that is the thrill of the portal.

If I were the Raiolas, and our plan was for Dylan to go to the NFL, staying here probably wasn't going to help his draft stock. We were never able to surround him with the top tier talent he needed to look like a high round NFL pick. He also didn't attract any....

If the sacks were an issue on the family side....well Uncle was coaching the line that got you killed. Also, get the ball out! The lack of mobility is a real thing.

Husker Online and Carriker both think some of this is coming from the Nebraska side. We wanted open competition, some changes in how he was handled. Do they actually know things? Or that they just need to fill space on a show?

I don't think he goes in the portal unless he has offers. Curious to see who it is.

"All Dom" is what I heard...
