Dylan Raiola

Dana coached Case Keenum who started 66 NFL games. He also coached Brandon Weeden who was a 1st round draft pick (25 NFL starts).

If Dylan actually does try to come back (doubtful), it's gonna be with his tail between his legs.

He thinks he's gonna have national championship contenders offering top dollar like they did when he was in HS, but I don't think he's finding that to be the case this time around.

As Rhule said, "Yesterday's price is not today's price." And that goes for the price we'd be willing to pay, too.

He may have gotten more here bc he saw how limited Nebraska was with bringing in talent. If he goes to a place like Miami or Oregon he may not demand as much bc he is surrounded with talent and will have the on field success to show he is a successful qb.

Talent? I think you've got it backwards.

Key just had the worst year of his career with Raiola throwing to him most of the year. I think it's perfectly reasonable to suggest that Key was the talent, and Raiola was the one bringing him down. If he was hoping Raiola would help him pad his stats, that sure didn't happen.

How many big-time programs are gonna want to risk the talent of their other players with Raiola?

No chance the ego lets this happen. Since all of the deals are "undisclosed" they can make up any story they want, regardless of the reality. In reality, I think you're right about his value going DOWN in the last couple of years. Potential vs actual performance.

Those stats at Kentucky were in a weaker conference.

(Sarcasm before someone gets offended.)

There were many factors that lead him to not having a successful season. You can blame Dylan for some of it but Key had a problem with getting open. Was that bc of the type of offense he played in with the routes taking longer to develop or bc Key lacks speed to separate? When we added him to the team I was happy but still wished we could get a burner or someone that wasn't consider a possession wr.

Totally.

Unless you watched the games.

Key went from 14 receptions over 20 yards last year to just 4 this year (2 of which were against HCU and 1 other was thrown by Lateef).

But if you wanna try to convince yourself that you 'watched' him forget how to get open this year or whatever, sure, you do that buddy.

Who cares about Dylan. Does Jeff Sims have any eligibility left? He went off today

Looks like DR got out of town just for before the team implosion.
Which was absolutely a smart move on his part. He saw the writing on the wall and said I'm out. No amount of money is worth losing and getting my body beat up game after game. I applaud him bc if I was in his shoes I would bail too.
