Frank Okam Hired as Defensive Line Coach?

Dude has been in Nebraska's backyard the whole time yet we picked Terry Bradden over him. Im not saying he was/is even looking for a job but to not even try to see how interested he could be in the job is very questionable of the staff especially since he produces guys to the NFL. Nebraska for the most part doesn't even get players from Iowa Western when you think there should be a pipeline from there.

How would you have any idea if we did or didn't reach out to gauge his interest? Great idea to just throw negative crap at the wall to see what sticks... carry on.

Fair point. Imo I think that he was never even approached last season bc IW is so over looked by the staff it's not even funny. I just think that Matt Rhule is going to try to get guys he knows first and then go outside the box. If he was approached last season I would think he would have accepted the job bc its a better opportunity for himself with more money.

Besides the 3 players we have on our roster from IWCC, it is completely overlooked.

Other than John Hohl significant playing the other 2 players aren't even factors or contributors to the football team success and all three are walk-ons. What I'm talking about are legit starters or contributors to a football team.

Yeah but thats not happening. Matt Rhule has job security rn bc of the extension and yes while fans are calling for his head he isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

So you are just making up stuff to be mad at, got it.

I was offered a job last year that would have been a 65k increase. As it turns out I don't need the money and love my current job so I declined. Stuff like that literally happens every day in the professional world.

Every Single Coach in the country goes after guys they "know". Rhule has shown he is willing to make changes, even outside his comfort zone. Dana is a great example of this.

Plenty of concrete stuff to complain about - quit making up stuff just to b!^@h.

Why..?? The topic is why we aren't pipelining DL guys from a small community college right across the river that seems to be finding and producing quality product.. the 3 we have were not recruited.. where did the goal get moved..??
