Dylan can sure throw a screen pass better than most. However, he has missed a lot of wide open receivers for TDs. His long ball, rarely seen, is not great. When he does connect those they typically have to stop and get tackled on the spot. His avg air yds per attempt are the lowest in fbs in many games. He can’t run (behind this line we need that and his uncle has been the coach for yrs so let’s not pretend we’re just gonna fix that). In college, for most teams, you have to be able to run to be good. He’ll never be great but he is def a serviceable qb. People showing stats like yds per game are just living in shadows of reality. He throws screen passes. Many fbs QBs can do that well. Without that, he doesn’t do much. Just looks better than the last few because of turnovers. Against PSU, we don’t even get to the red zone but once (cuz of EJ run) if DR is qb.
