There were definitely some passes on Saturday that Dylan probably would have completed and TJ wasn't anywhere close.

True.

However, if TJ Lateef was a true sophomore and had 21 consecutive starts like DR, he likely would be a more polished QB for sure. Might even be a lot better than the 2 1/2 game stretch so far. That would be my comparison.

I also think he would light-it-up in the Big 12 conference (playing for ASU, Utah, Cincy, Houston, TCU, K-State etc...).

He's a freshman and these are his first few games with abysmal line support, I'm going to give him a bit of a pass this year.

Of course you're going to find excuses for they guy you've been clamoring for all year.
