Well, I started this thread and I just read 9 freaking pages of arguments, GIF bombs, threats, google docs and other crap to figure out if I'm going to be able to come back to this board and just enjoy talking about the Huskers again.

I never felt personally attacked by him. He just ruined my enjoyment of the Board. I don't mind different opinions and arguments, he was just in every thread every where at all times...ruining my enjoyment of it.

Dr Mantis saying people shouldn't comment on his dismissal, I was simply replying to Mantis-- saying I said it to his face and then left the board, basically because Polo ruined it for me. Now he's gone, I can enjoy the board again. Pretty simple.

Polo never hesitated to personally attack EZ-E and his employment well after he was banned. Karma can be a b*tch.

But Polo was supposedly banned for doing stuff like that so why is everyone else doing the same? All I am saying is if you don't like the guy then fine. But to have people come out publicly with negativity towards the guy after he is banned is really stooping to the level that people here were complaining about with polo.

I didn't wait until he was banned. I said it to his "face" on a message board. I'm glad he's gone, what insight and intelligence he did bring (and he did), his snarky, condescending, long winded, and uppity attitude ruined my enjoyment of this board.

I think things ALL the time when reading here, and sometimes I type for 5 minutes a response. Then I read it 2-3 times to see if I want it out there forever. 95% of the time I just delete it. He could never not be involved in a discussion or thread and he was negative. So, I'm glad he's gone. I've been here regularly since 2007 and no one has ever ever ruined my enjoyment/amusement of this board except him.

How can you read it in the shed? If you're not logged in you can't even see the shed. Mantis even had a tweet where he thought the shed was closed down after their banning.

If one guy ruined it for you, that is nobody's fault but your own. You could've put him on ignore. That would have severely limited the posts of his that you would've seen. And, if you felt so strongly, you surely could've made the conscious decision to not read his posts that you did see. I don't buy this "somebody else ruined it for me" bullsh#t. Take care of yourself and do what it takes to not expose yourself to it if it's that bad for ya. Or, I guess you can come in here after the fact, when the offending party can't defend himself, and whine about how tough it was being "forced" to read his posts. Sounds pretty stupid to me. Do bad TV shows affect you the same way?

In theory it should work, but he was such a polarizing figure that everyone one of his posts got quoted multiple times. So his posts would still be there for you to see, or if you still ignored them, it would be pretty difficult to follow along.

A few years back you could lurk on HB and use the password to the shed without being logged in. But that was fixed in one of the software updates. If someone wanted to go to the trouble, they could probably figure a way to hack into the shed. But it seems like it'd be easier to just use some anonymizer tool to hide your IP address, and then start a new account. I'd bet at least some of the banned guys are still on HB. And it really doesn't hurt anything, I guess.

As do I at this point. But it was never about Polo's views. It wasnt his message. It was his delivery and timing. As has been stated multiple times already. He on many occasions acted like a self riteous prick. Yet, those who have met him stick up for him and say how cool he is. That's fine. Not gonna fault that. But I havent met him in person. All I know is the a-hole I see on here. What if I told you that Landlord is a pretty cool dude. Seriously. Same with Minny. EZ and I bullsh#t text all the time. EZ's pretty cool in person. And so is True and Crewe and Knapp. GrillonGrill. All these guys I've met in person MoHusker. And I'll vouch for all them. But I bet there's many people who havent met them that cant stand them based on their comments here. This is the issue for many with Polo. And his message is all they have. And in many instances, was against the rules of the forum.
