Polo came off as not wanting to give someome the time of day if he didnt share your opinion. I never met him and could be off base here, but I would be happy to discuss things face to face, exchange ideas and have a friendly conversation. I dont get that vibe from him. It seems once he has decided he disagrees with you and you dont cave, thats it

you might not get that vibe from him, but also, he's from California. So the notion of such a meeting simply wasnt logical to a lot of people. Which may have also played a hand in his attitude.

Dr Mantis saying people shouldn't comment on his dismissal, I was simply replying to Mantis-- saying I said it to his face and then left the board, basically because Polo ruined it for me. Now he's gone, I can enjoy the board again. Pretty simple.

If one guy ruined it for you, that is nobody's fault but your own. You could've put him on ignore. That would have severely limited the posts of his that you would've seen. And, if you felt so strongly, you surely could've made the conscious decision to not read his posts that you did see. I don't buy this "somebody else ruined it for me" bullsh#t. Take care of yourself and do what it takes to not expose yourself to it if it's that bad for ya. Or, I guess you can come in here after the fact, when the offending party can't defend himself, and whine about how tough it was being "forced" to read his posts. Sounds pretty stupid to me. Do bad TV shows affect you the same way?

Holy crap. lol. Sorry if I offended your boyfriend or whatever.

I did take care of it. In numerous threads I had civil, thought out debate when he first joined. Oftentimes I read his posts with interest.

Then he got REALLY ANNOYING to me. So I came to the appropriate place, started a thread telling him so, and tried to piss him off a little. It didn't really work, he just "deconstructed" my post to him and was his usual annoying self.

So, in response, I still read plenty of threads, articles, posts (even from him), and perused the recruiting forum and whatnot. But I quit posting and if he was annoyning in a thread, I left it. No biggie. I hadn't been on in a week or so, when I checked in I see how the recruiting was going I see this giant soap opera going on. As it turns out, the guy who ruined my enjoyment on a message board that I kinda quit coming to is gone now. Good for me. And apparently a bunch of other people too. So suck it, geek. I'm all good, the annoying person is gone and I can freely read threads again without knowig for certain, NUPolo8 isn't in there. YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
