Yeah, that Backwoods Bastard was as good as advertised, probably my favorite of all of them. The Resolute was really good too. My memory of last night gets a bit fuzzy but we tried at least half of these. And walked home afterward.

my buddy had a backwoods bastard to give me, but someone took it. he did give me a founders breakfast stout that i am enjoying right now. shockingly thick, but so delicious.
in kc we watched the game at a bar that had schlafly coffee stout. by far my favorite thing i put in my mouth all weekend. a top beer right there. i was also able to pick up some old chub i will probably be sampling later in the week.

had some sierra nevada celebration that i liked a lot. and some breckenridge christmas ale that was good. they were both easy to drink and pretty delicious.

now i am have a backwoods bastard. good god. that is strong. but good. i feel like it is a bit of an acquired taste. but it does have a strong scotch taste with a stout finish. imo.

Just got Battery a set of 4 Guinness Crystal glasses with a Black and Tan Strainer. Looking forward to Christmas night an a Black and Tan.

boulevard's nutcracker ale is pretty solid. clocking in at 7.20% abv, it is surprisingly smooth. not my favorite christmas time ale, but it is a good standby.

also, you guys in neb. have it pretty good with zipline's oatmeal porter. that is also a solid go to beer.

Oatmeal porter is their only good beer, imho.

Titan ipa from Great Divide Brewing Company is pretty darn good. Bought a six pack the other night. Still not as good as their Hercules ipa, though. That stuff is amazing.

Wow, can't believe I just stumbled on this thread! I am a beer nut, enjoying the Brau Brothers Bancreagie Peated Scotch ale right now. It is really nice. Anybody in here on Untappd?

Don't know if it's been mentioned yet, Tallgrass Brewing Vanilla Bean Buffalo Sweat, really good stuff! Wells Sticky Toffee Pudding Beer was ridiculous too IMO.

Picked up some North Coast Puck. Not too shabby.
