Our special teams sucks

you’ve obvi never played, coached or been a part of a FG unit. You don’t have to “take a step back" or be pushed, give ground, or even move to have a fg blocked.  if the coaches are any good, the team can mitigate any chance for a  block.  there dozens of hours of practice on how to block for a a PAT/FG.  is it easy? yes!  does it take a full effort and practice to make it easy? YES! if you aren't doing an easy thing easy, it's not good and it shows a lack of discipline, focus and attention to detail. 

which has plagued us for 10 f'ing years!!!

damn, some of "greatest fans"…i swear have never played a down of college or any level of football. we got owned on 3 FG attempts. OWNED!! 

i dont care if it's a bad snap, filling KO lanes, covering a punt, getting pushed back on FG, fair catching or calling a fair catch. 

OUR SPECIAL TEAMS SUCK. THEY SUCK a$$.  dont care what the problem is. there is a problem. Our poor play on special teams has cost us one game already. And had set us up for not so good in 3 other games for sure. 
if we do not fix this problem, we will def lose 1-2 more games for sure because of this problem. 
Our old turnover problem seems to be solved, only to be replaced by a supremely poor special teams problem. Whatever it is! Bad snap, penetration, coverage, lanes, lazy, etc etc.

Yikes. You claimed our line got manhandled. You haven't refuted what BRB said at all. He is implying that it doesn't look like it's the line's fault, and you have done nothing yet to explain how it is the line's fault. So why don't you explain it if you actually want to refute what BRB is saying. He is also not claiming our special teams doesn't suck. I believe he is blaming this on the snap and/or the hold and/or the kicker. 

What's laughable is after you say the line got manhandled, and after you reply about how nobody who hasn't played football could possibly understand, you say something is wrong and you don't care what it is and "whatever it is" is a problem. If you're going to tell people they don't know what they're talking about, you should at least try to sound like you have some kind of clue. You certainly haven't done that.

The first FG attempt the kicker obviously hooked it too much.  It happens.  And he's a frosh.

The second FG attempt was blocked because the kick was extremely low off the foot. The Defenders didn't have to jump, but just put their hands up.  Because it barely got over the linemen.  

The third FG attempt was blocked because the holder dropped it briefly, gathered it back to put the ball down, and it messed with the timing.

I always catch little details like this because I don't drink during Husker games, unless it's a Friday night (or Sat night game).  

 
One way to fix special teams is to have an offense that scores more touchdowns and converts more 3rd downs.  

It would be nice to see the Husker offense pick up the pace, with a bit more urgency, and start scoring points well into the 30's..... or more (40's).  

This is right time to get the offense going full speed.  Convert more 3rd downs.  Score more touchdowns.  

The ST units will be less pressed and can focus on their jobs as well.

You can't hit long snappers anymore, so it opened the door for smaller guys. They're usually a bit bigger than that, but even in the NFL the pro bowl long snappers last year were listed at 229 and 240.

Yeah, you can’t even line up a lineman directly over the long snapper anymore.

I've done it. If you want to call granny bowling the same as regular bowling, then sure, it's like throwing a pass... I agree, it's not that difficult, and if it's your only job to earn your scholarship you shouldn't have problems (a once in a blood moon screw up does happen though).
