I wish I was. Those people make bank!Assuming I like Chardonnay because I'm from California is like me assuming you're a cattle inseminator because you're from Kansas.
Ya ya ya, and I tell my wife I always break even at the casino. We all know a little no harm type fib when we see one.Over many years on this board I have clearly expressed my fondness for beer, whiskey, steak, football, and big titties. You need to respect that.
That's pretty much how I am, but that's because I genuinely don't really care what other people think about politics. I have my opinions, I'm willing to try to educate myself on issues as best as I can, but I have very little interest or desire in hearing what the average person thinks about things because the average person is frankly kind of dumb. About the only person who has any real influence on my political views is my wife but we're both similarly aligned on most issues. And FYI, I don’t/won’t talk politics except in the forums here on HB. This is how I maintain friendships with both hard core lefties and far right Trumpers. If people start talking politics at my house, I tell them they need to change the subject or leave.
Yes, anybody that wants to talk politics or religion in a social situation is guaranteed to have WAY too strong of an opinion one way or the other and neither extreme is anything I want to hear about. Really have only had an issue with it with 2 people, my sister and a good friend from HS. Both hard core Trumpers. My sister started talking her s#!t one time at my house and I told her nobody wanted to hear it so change the subject. The situation with my buddy occurred at his house so all I could really do was deflect and bring up other things. Luckily it was a short visit. Both of them used to be a lot more enjoyable but have become, radicalized is prob the correct term, within the last 5 years or so. Kind of just avoid them now. That's pretty much how I am, but that's because I genuinely don't really care what other people think about politics. In my experience, most of the people who try to inject politics into public conservations are ardent liberals and conservatives, people who seem to think others are interested in it too and/or align with their views on it. My ex father-in-law was notorious for bringing up politics and his boner for all things Trump at everything from small family dinners to Christmas, even though most of his family is moderate like my wife and I or actually super liberal. And on more than one occasion he caused his niece and her wife to leave family gatherings. It's like, brother, read a f#&%ing room.
Well I did a FùckFùckYou search on the subject to arrive at my very educated facts. If you would rather look at some chart you found on the interwebs and ignore the real world implications of the steel tariffs on an actual business, I don’t know what to tell ya. You can yell “the tariffs had no effect on prices” all you want, I know that’s a bunch of s#!t.Well again….the raw price is the raw process shown by, check notes…..yep…..STLFed. If some other issue affected his pricing then that’s a different discussion. Or if he misremembered. Or YOU could show us the price of steel during that time period using a DuckDuckGo search or yahoo or encyclopedia or wherever else you use to get information. We will anxiously be waiting YOUR results.
somehow tariffs actually don't increase material cost according to archy.
since i mentioned his name.....i figured it was better safe in the shed. You brought this into The Shed. If you're not going to be inflammatory and insulting, please post this in the regular channels.
hard to blame him though. in trumps america you can be in real trouble for calling it a nazi salute https://www.newsweek.com/popular-weather-forecaster-fired-over-elon-musk-nazi-salute-remark-2019493Anybody bending over backwards to defend Elon’s little Nazi “oopsie” is lying to themselves for some reason or just a good obedient water-carrying little a$$h@!e.
I mean I’m not surprised about Archy, that guy is a ceaselessly partisan bag of dicks. But usually Enhance has a bit more intellectual backbone than that.
The argument that it’s over blown or some kind of leftist setup would carry a lot more weight if he hadn’t just deliberately turned his social media site into an extremist (e.g. Nazi) playground.
pu&&yfooting with a$$h@!es like Trump and Musk while they nod and wink at the scummiest losers who wave their flag isn’t gonna benefit anybody.
I wish I was. Those people make bank!
Why would someone buy a bull and give the bull semen away for free? That doesn’t sound like funYes, the professional cattle inseminators make good money. But not the guys who do it for free because it sounds like fun.
I just can’t imagine paying attention to this particular shtick for going on a decade - including all the greatest hits:So Enhance created a new thread to house all Elon Musk's Nazi Salute talk, claimed everyone misunderstood him and Elon, then locked the thread from further discussion.
That's some candyass s#!t, Enhance. Here's guessing someone else in Trump's sphere will make yet another not-at-all-innocent play to white supremacists— perhaps any second now — and you'll feel obliged to excuse it away again. Feel free, but please don't decide the conversation is over.
